Default On the Attack!

When planning an attack on enemy units you should remember that a wise general will have a plan for his or her units after the anticipated battle takes place. Lets say, for example, that you have a brigade a few hexes away from a town that you have been assigned to take. In between you and the town is an enemy regiment. The inefficient general would order their brigade to attack the hex that the enemy unit is occupying and forget that if their unit wins the fight they would be free to move on after the combat and take their objective in the same turn, rather than wait for the turn to end with their units stopping in the hex that the enemy unit previously occupied.
